get to know me

One quality I love most in people is: respect for others.

If my house could only be furnished in one colour it would definitely have to be: jewel tones! I know, that's multiple colours.

One luxury I cannot live without is: an amazing jacket

If I had to choose coffee or tea it would be: COFFEE. You know...law student.

One place that I have been that I would love to go back to is: Rome, Italy. Despite living there for a semester there's still so much I want to see and do in Rome. To misquote Gertrude Stein, America is my country and Rome is my hometown.

One place I am longing to visit is: Thailand.

One talent I wish I had is: the ability to dance.

I think most people would agree that I am very: warm.

If I could change one quality about myself it would be: my tendency to judge too quickly.

One career I could see myself having would be: an author.

If food is therapy, when stressed I indulge in: Kraft macaroni & cheese and Tyson chicken nuggets. Not exactly the healthiest but that meal takes me back to being a child.

One of my favorite brands of clothing is: Ann Taylor Loft.

If my life was a book, the title would be: Naked prayer time.

My favorite flowers are: calla lilies. They're so elegant and simple.

I would love to have a coffee & chat session with this famous person: J.K. Rowling and not just because I'm a huge Harry Potter fan.

A favorite TV show: I'm loving the River right now!

Hollywood is: overrated and superficial.

Tuscany or Provence: Both. I love Tuscany but I've never been to Provence so I would need to spend time in Provence to make a fair decision.

The next presidential election will be: interesting to watch play out! Elections are sort of like soap operas if you ask me.

The one best thing about blogging is: the chance to improve my writing.

A guilty pleasure for me is: makeup shopping.

A clothing style designer that I think has great style is: Carolina Herrara.

My strongest quality would have to be: that I'm very compassionate.

The best restaurant I've ever been to was: a tie between the chicken soup restaurant in Seoul (sorry I honestly never learned the name of it despite the fact that we went at least once a week) and al Buchetto in the Trastevere neighborhood in Rome, Italy.

If my life were a documentary I could see this actress playing me:  Natalie Portman.

One thing I like about my appearance is: oh goodness. Probably my hair or my eyes. Or the fact that I have a narrow waist. Okay so that was more than one thing.

One thing I can say I honestly love about myself is: my strength & resilience.

Town or country: Country. Since I'm still young and single the city is fun but I miss nature so much. I can't wait to move out into the country and have a yard and a garden and lots of green space.

One person I admire is: my mom. She taught me how to be strong and independent without sacrificing my femininity.

Pick a decade to live in, any decade: the 60's!

My favorite room of my house is: my office/dining/living room. Oh the advantages of apartment living!

If I were an animal I would be: one of my parents' dogs. Seriously spoiled & seriously loved and adored!

A book I would recommend to everyone would be: A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

If I were planning a huge family reunion I would want to have it: in a ski resort in the Rockies during ski season.

One thing I wish everyone could be more of is: selfless. Not even completely selfless, but if we all had a little less selfishness this world would be such a better place.
