[election day]

"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting."
[Franklin D. Roosevelt]

"Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don't vote."
[William E. Simon]

"The vote is the most powerful instrument ever devised by man for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls which imprison men because they are different from other men."
[Lyndon B. Johnson]

Please please please go vote today. If you do nothing else today, go vote. Vote on the referendums, the questions, the candidates. Vote with your heart and with your mind. Vote for your convictions and your beliefs. Remember, no one needs to know what happens in that booth. Do not let friends or family members or public opinion tell you how to vote.

Whatever you do, make sure that today you exercise your right to vote.
